Freddy Tylicki has tweeted about the 'long road' in front of him as he comes to terms with the injuries he sustained in a fall at Kempton last month.
Tylicki suffered a T7 paralysis, which means he has movement in the upper half of his body but not the lower half, when he was involved in a pile-up at the course on October 31.
He remains in intensive care at St George's Hospital in Tooting and the 30-year-old has taken to social media to thank people for their support.
"Struggling and fighting !!!!" he tweeted. "Thank you every single one for all the support!
"Here is to a long road in front of me!
"Much love everyone!"
