Joao Teixeira is to join Porto when his contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the month.
Teixeira joined Liverpool from Sporting Lisbon in 2012 but after struggling to break into the first-team he was sent on loan to Brentford and Brighton.
Despite only making seven appearances for Liverpool last season, the 23-year-old was offered the chance to remain at Anfield beyond the end of his current contract, but he rejected the offer.
He will become a Porto player when his current deal expires on July 1.
“Liverpool would like to wish Joao all the best for his future career with his new club,” the club said in a statement.
