Yaya Toure is likely to leave Manchester City this summer, according to the midfielder's agent, Dimitri Seluk.
With Pep Guardiola set to take over from Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the current season, it appears that Toure will head for the exit door, despite having played under the Spaniard at Barcelona from 2008 to 2010.
Toure will still have a year to run on his contract when the summer arrives.
"I think Yaya will leave the club," agent Dimitri Seluk told The Sun, with City still on course for a quadruple, "but, before leaving, I hope he will win again the league and all the cups.”
It is very possible, of course, that Seluk is simply looking for Guardiola to provide his man with early reassurance.
“It's not a question of whether Pep likes him or not,” said the agent. “It's life, you know.
"Pep can call Yaya and speak to him to let him know, 'I'm with you' or 'I am not with you'."
In five and a half seasons at City, Toure has appeared 251 times, scored 70 goals, won the Premier League twice, and lifted the FA Cup and League Cup trophies.
