Aguero returns to training

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has returned to full training ahead of Monday's Premier League tie with Arsenal.

Aguero has not featured for City since sustaining a heel injury in the win over Southampton on November 28, missing the club's last four games, but he has provided manager Manuel Pellegrini with a massive lift ahead of the Christmas schedule by returning to full training.

"On Wednesday morning, he returned to normal training with the full squad ahead of one of the most important matches for the Blues so far this campaign," a statement on the club's website read.

"Provided there is no reaction, (City boss) Manuel Pellegrini will hope to have Aguero available for the trip to the Emirates Stadium."
