Antrim secured promotion to the Allianz Hurling League Divison 1B with victory over Carlow in the Division 2A play-off at Pairc Esler.
The Saffrons came through 2-12 to 0-15, with an Eoghan Campbell goal and a Neil McManus penalty giving them a 2-05 to 0-07 lead at the interval.
Colm Bonnar’s Carlow fought back in the second period, but Antrim had enough to see them home with an injury-time McManus point securing the win.
Antrim will take Kerry's place in Division 1B after the Kingdom lost the Division 1B relegation play-off to Laois at O'Moore Park. Kerry notched 4-14 to Laois' 1-23 to finish level at the end of normal time, with Laois edging victory in extra-time on a 1-30 to 4-20 scoreline.
Laois' victory was a hard-fought won that came against the odds given they played most of the tie with 14 men after Neil Foyle was sent off early in the game. It looked like the home side would win the tie in normal tie only for a goal from Padraig Boyle to force the game to extra time.
Ross King was in inspirational form for Laois, scoring seven points, four of which came in the first half of extra time. Kerry again fought back to level the tie before scores from Aidan Corby and Paddy Purcell won it for Laois.
