They will be referred to as “Pay” subscribers. Up until now these customers have been unable to access the eir TV app.

Where can I download the eir TV app?

It couldn't be easier to download the app. You can download it from the Google Play Store or the App Store on iOS.

How can I log in to the eir TV app?

After downloading the eir TV app, you can log in using your nine digit Sky viewing card number In the specific format outlined below.

  1. Open the eir TV app

  2. In the Email field, do not enter your email, instead you should enter your nine digit Sky viewing card number with the following naming convention  sky:XXXXXXXXX

It is crucial that the prefix sky: is inserted ahead of your viewing card number (as per the above image) otherwise you will not be able to log in.

  1. In the password field, you must enter one of the phone numbers that was originally registered to your eir sport account (mobile or landline) to log in. If both a landline and mobile were originally registered to your eir sport account, then either can be used as a password.

For the password, the eir TV app will validate the last six digits of the landline or mobile. If you enter the whole phone number including area code prefix it will still be accepted so long as the last six digits are correct.

Please note: Apple iOS users must select don't allow in the dialog below when logging due to the keyboard restrictions on the login screen. If you have selected “Allow” please uninstall and reinstall the eir TV app.

This is because a character limited keyboard is used for the "Username" field which does not have the ability to enter : and will prevent eir sport subscribers logging in successfully.

If you are still struggling to log in, please contact the eir sport team on 0818 20 30 40
