Arsenal's hopes of signing Jorginho from Napoli will diminish with time, according to the player's agent.
The midfielder has been linked with a switch to north London with the 25-year-old expected to welcome the interest.
While admitting the Gunners have yet to make contact with him, Jorginho's agent has warned them to hurry up if they intend to solidify their interest in signing him.
“Arsenal? No one has contacted me,” Joao Santos told Radio CRC.
“Jorginho is fine in Naples, it is obvious that some managers have taken an interest in him, but my client has only Napoli in the sights for this year, and his goal is to do better than last year.
“The more time passes, the more difficult it is for the player to move.
“There is no release clause in his contract. If there comes a club with so much money and [club president Aurelio] De Laurentis is interested in the figure offered, [he] will sell him.”
Under pressure to prepare the squad to challenge for major honours next season, Arsene Wenger splashed out a cub record £44.5m on French striker Alexandre Lacazette earlier this week while defender Sead Kolasinac joined last month.
