Baggies end Chamakh interest

West Brom have ended their pursuit of Marouane Chamakh.

Chamakh has been without a club since being released by Crystal Palace in the summer and had been training with the Baggies for the past three weeks in the hope of earning a contract.

Momo Sissoko had also been training with the club but manager Tony Pulis has confirmed that the club are no longer interest in signing the pair.

"We have decided against taking Chamakh and Sissoko. They have moved on and we wish them well," Pulis confirmed at his weekly press conference.
