Barca return for Pep in Champions League

Tough group for Manchester City

Pep Guardiola will take his Manchester City side to the Nou Camp to face Barcelona in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.

Guardiola won the Champions League twice during his time at Barcelona and will be hoping he can deliver a first European title for City in his debut season at the Etihad Stadium.

Having struggled in the Champions League previously, City reached the semi-finals last season – they were beaten by eventual winners Real Madrid - but once again they have been drawn in a tough group with Barcelona, Borussia Monchengladbach and Celtic standing in their way.

Premier League champions Leicester City will play in Europe's elite club competition for the first time after their heroics last season and their reward is a place in Group G alongside FC Porto, Club Brugge and Copenhagen.

Arsenal have been drawn in Group A alongside Paris Saint-Germain, FC Basel and Ludogorets Razgrad, while Tottenham face CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco in Group E.

Defending champions Real Madrid have been drawn in the same group as Borussia Dortmund, Sporting Lisbon and Legia Warsaw, who defeated Dundalk to progress to the group stages of the Champions League.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, PSV Eindhoven and FC Rostov will square up in Group D, withe Benfica, Napoli, Dynamo Kiev and Besiktas drawn in Group B.

The final group sees Juventus, Sevilla, Olympique Lyonnais and Dinamo Zagreb drawn together.
