Gareth Barry has completed a move from Everton to West Bromwich Albion for an undisclosed fee.
The midfielder spent four years at Goodison Park - one season on loan followed by three on a permanent deal - after moving from Manchester City.
The former England international made his name at Aston Villa before joining Manchester City after their takeover by the oil-rich royal family from Abu Dhabi.
The 35-year-old is just five appearances short of Ryan Giggs' all-time Premier League record and will be confident of beating that total over the course of his initial one-year deal at the Hawthorns.
“I want to come and help the team," Barry said. "That’s always been the same for me wherever I have played.
“I want to help the team improve, work hard and hopefully add quality."
Speaking of his time at the Toffees, Barry told Evertonfc.com: "I've had four great years at Everton. The fans have been brilliant with me from the day I signed until the day I left.
"I'm proud that the Club will always be a big part of my career. There are too many people to thank but I'd like to mention a few of them - the Chairman, Bill Kenwright, Roberto Martinez who brought me to Goodison, Ronald Koeman whom I've enjoyed working with, the staff at the Club and some great teammates.
"And of course the fans. Look forward to seeing you all again."
