Batshuayi set for Valencia exit

Michy Batshuayi will return to Chelsea, Valencia's sporting director Mateu Alemany has revealed.

Batshuayi is currently on loan at the Spanish outfit but the two clubs are in talks over the termination of the agreement with the Belgium international set to return to Stamford Bridge this month.

"At the moment we are negotiating with several clubs the departure of Michy Batshuayi," Alemany confirmed.

"The player knows. For the good of the player and the club, we are looking for a solution. We are expecting an exit in the next few hours or days."

Batshuayi has endured a difficult time in Spain, scoring twice in 23 appearances for the club, and earlier this week, Valencia boss Marcelino hinted that he had run out of patience with the 25-year-old.

While his time at Valencia is coming to an end, it is unclear if he will return to Chelsea or join another club on loan.
