?Slaven Bilic has warned previous results will count for nothing when they renew rivalry with Liverpool in Tuesday's FA Cup fourth round replay.
West Ham defeated Liverpool in their two Premier League meetings this season before playing out a scoreless draw in the FA Cup on January 30.
they will be looking to make it three wins from four games when they two sides meet at Upton Park on Tuesday night, but Bilic is taking nothing for granted as the Reds prepare to welcome back Daniel Sturridge for the game.
"Daniel Sturridge is a great player and has been injured. This is the third time we have played Liverpool and they have had different line-ups," Bilic told his pre-match press conference on Monday.
"We are well prepared for whatever team they come with. We will know that one hour before the game and it is not a big problem.
"If it is not Sturridge, it will be (Christian) Benteke. They have a lot of good strikers and the difference is the midfield.
"Liverpool are a big club and have had their ups and downs this season. Make no mistake you have to close them down and can't give them time."
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp missed Saturday's 2-2 draw with Sunderland after undergoing surgery to have his appendix removed, but he could return to the dugout for the trip to London.
Liverpool have managed to win just 12 of their 28 games under Klopp but Bilic has dismissed suggestions that he will rush back to the dugout because of pressure.
"I don't think Klopp will be back because of the pressure. He will be back because he is like that," he said.
"He is the leader. He is Jurgen Klopp and is a successful man. He likes to work. For him this is natural and he wants to be back."
Tuesday’s game is live on BT Sport 2, which is available to Republic of Ireland subscribers on the Setanta Sports Pack.
