Bilic: We are the underdogs
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic insists his side are the underdogs ahead of Wednesday's EFL Cup quarter-final against Manchester United.
The Hammers scored within 90 seconds of the kick-off at Old Trafford on Sunday as they held United to a 1-1 draw in the Premier League.
There must be a winner when the two sides renew rivalry on Wednesday night and Bilic is aiming to cause an upset by denying Jose Mourinho's men a place in the semi-finals.
"We played well against Man United but tomorrow, a draw is not enough, there has to be a winner," Bilic told reporters on Tuesday.
"We were underdogs against Chelsea (in the previous round), and we are underdogs again now. This cup is a big opportunity for us.
"Tomorrow, we will do everything we can to beat them. We will give a few players a chance, but we are going there to win."
Diafra Sakho picked up a hamstring injury in Sunday's draw and is facing a few weeks on the sidelines.
"We don't know how long Diafra Sakho will be out for yet, definitely tomorrow, probably a few weeks," Bilic added.
"We know how important he is to us, he gives us a lot so it's a big blow and I hope he returns as soon as possible."
