Bolasie 'undertaking Goodison medical'

Winger to become Toffees' record signing

Yannick Bolasie is to undergo a medical at Everton on Sunday, according to reports.

The 27-year-old winger is expected to make a proposed move from Crystal Palace official in the coming days.

Should the deal be completed, it is believed that Bolasie will cost Everton £30 million, making him to the Merseyside club's record signing.

The DR Congo international was a second-half substitute in Palace's opening-day Premier League defeat to West Bromwich Albion – the Eagles were beaten 1-0 at home - and boss Alan Pardew more or less admitted afterwards that the attacker would soon be on his way.

"We know there is a big offer and a big club in for him," Pardew told the BBC. "The deal is close, and he will go with my best wishes.

"It's fair to say we know his heart and soul may be elsewhere."
