Boro sign Gestede
Middlesbrough have announced the signing for Rudy Gestede from Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.
Gestede has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Aston Villa this season but he has swapped the Championship for a return to the Premier League.
"CONFIRMED #Boro have completed the signing of @Rudy Gestede from @AVFCOfficial," the Premier League club tweeted.
The 28-year-old, who becomes Aitor Karanka's first signing of the January transfer window, has signed a deal that will keep him at the Riverside until June 2020.
