Bob Bradley has urged his Swansea team to show greater resilience if they are to maintain the Premier League status.
Swansea were the better team for the first half of their game against West Brom on Wednesday night before conceding three goals in the space of 13 minutes.
Although they grabbed a consolation goal late on through Wayne Routledge’s strike, it was not enough to prevent the Swans from a tenth defeat of the season, a result that leaves them 18th in the table with 12 points from their first 16 games.
Bradley was left frustrated by his player's lack of resilience and believes they find a way to fight back if they are to avoid relegation.
"If we're playing well and somehow we go down that doesn't mean the game's over and doesn't change everything," Bradley said.
"There's something about resiliency and mentality that when you want points on the road you have to be able to fight for some tough stretches.
"You have to give yourself a chance at the end by not conceding quickly after you've given up a goal or not giving up goals as we've done at the end of a half or the beginning of a half."
