Brighton host Man City in BT Sport's season opener

BT Sport's live coverage of the new Premier League season kicks off with newly-promoted Brighton's home game against Manchester City on Saturday, 12 August.

All of last season's top six teams will feature on BT Sport in August and September, with the pick of the eight live games announced on Friday the meeting between champions Chelsea and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on 30 September.

The BT Sport cameras travel to the Potteries for Arsenal's visit to Stoke City on Saturday, 19 August, and will return on 9 September for the visit of Manchester United to the Bet 365 Stadium.

BT Sport will also show Manchester United's home clash with 2015-16 Premier League champions Leicester City on Saturday, 26 August.

BT Sport will also be there when Leicester host Liverpool at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, 23 September, a match that will invoke fond memories for Foxes' manager Craig Shakespeare.

Leicester ended a run of five straight Premier League defeats last season with an emphatic 3-1 win over Jurgen Klopp's side in February, in Shakespeare's first match in caretaker charge following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.

BT Sport will also have live coverage of Tottenham's "home" game against Swansea City at Wembley on Saturday, 16 September.

Tottenham are playing all their home games in the 2017-18 season at the home of English football while their White Hart Lane stadium is redeveloped.

Finally, Arsenal take on Chris Hughton's Brighton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 1 October.
