Cazorla and Ox close to return

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Santi Cazorla are closing in on a return to full training, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed.

Cazorla has been sidelined with a knee injury since November but had been due to make a return to competitive action in March until he suffered a setback in his recovery.

Wenger was fearful that he would miss the rest of the campaign, but he could return to full training next week along with Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been out with a knee injury since February.

"Next week [Chamberlain and Cazorla] will be back maybe, they are not back in full training yet. They are still on fitness work," Wenger told his club's official website.

Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky played for the club's under-21 side last week and will get another game under their belts before returning to the first-team.

"Jack and Tomas are playing today for the under-21s. They have had no reaction from last Friday’s game and they look alright," Wenger added.

Arsenal's title hopes took a hit last weekend when they were held to a 3-3 draw by West Ham last weekend and the will be hoping to bounce back when they Crystal Palace at the Emirates on Sunday.

"From last Saturday's game against West Ham, we should have everyone available who was in the squad," Wenger confirmed.
