Cazorla: Arsenal must keep Cazorla

Arsenal would be making a mistake if they were to let Hector Bellerin leave the club, Santi Cazorla has warned.

Bellerin played in all but two of Arsenal's Premier League games last season and, while he is under contract until 2019, his good form has seen him linked with a move to Barcelona.

Manager Arsene Wenger has urged the club to tie him down to a new long-term contract and Cazorla believes it is important for Arsenal to keep hold of the 21-year-old.

"For Arsenal it would be a mistake to let him go. It is obvious that many teams want him," Cazorla told IBTimes UK.

"There has been talk about Manchester City and Barcelona. He is a player with great potential and I am sure he will also be a key part of the future of the Spanish national team.

"We'll see [what happens with Hector]. You could see in the victory over Swansea how good he is. He was all over the place and never stopped running."
