Cazorla suffers injury setback

Santi Cazorla is in danger of missing the remainder of the season due to an Achilles problem.

Cazorla has been sidelined with knee injury damage since November but had been due to make a return to competitive action in March.

However, he suffered a setback in his recovery and manager Arsene Wenger admits he could be forced to miss the rest of the campaign.

"Santi is not doing too well," he said. "He has some Achilles problems that hold him back. His knee is doing well but his Achilles has inflamed a little bit and we have to put him off impact.

When asked if Cazorla would be able to return in April, Wenger replied: "We have to see now how he responds. He had always a little tendonitis on his Achilles and we have to see how he responds to that."
