Brazilian club Chapecoense have been awarded the Copa Sudamericana by South American football confederation Conmebol after the plane crash that killed the majority of the team.
Seventy-one people, including 19 players and staff, were killed when the plan in which they were travelling to the final came down on its approach to the City of Medellin.
The Serie A side were scheduled to play Atletico National in the Copa Sudamerica finals the day after the crash and their opponents asked Conmebol to award the title to Chapecoense in tribute to those who died.
"For CONMEBOL there is no greater example of the 'spirit of peace, understanding and fair play' set forth as an objective of our institution than the solidarity, consideration and respect shown by Atletico National towards its brothers from Chapecoense," the governing body said in a statement.
Atletico Nacional will receive the Fair Play award, which includes a USD one million (£785,000) prize.
Brazilian first division teams have offered to loan players to the club free of charge and have asked the league to provide them with a three-year exemption from relegation.
