Harry Charsley is confident Ireland U-21s can continue their impressive start to their Euro Qualifying campaign in Norway on Tuesday night.
Ireland U-21s face the Norwegians at the Marienlyst Stadion, Drammen on Tuesday, a match which will be shown live on eir Sport 1 at 6pm.
Ireland U-21s sit top of European Qualifier Group E with ten points from four games, after claiming four points from their home qualifiers against Norway and Israel in October.
Everton youngster Charsley, who netted in the 4-0 win over Israel at Tallaght Stadium on 9 October, says he was impressed by Leif Gunnar Smerud's Norway side in last month's goalless draw between the sides.
"Norway are a good, technical team, like they showed in Tallaght last month, so we know we need to be at our very best to get the result we need," the 21-year-old said.
"The conditions will be different from what we're used to, but the training has been good since we landed and we're all really looking forward to it.
"It would be a huge three points if we can get them and give us a great lift going into next year's fixtures.
"We've got plenty of quality throughout the squad, so hopefully we can show that."
Ireland will be without injured pair Reece Grego-Cox and Ryan Delaney for Tuesday's game on the 3G Marienlyst Stadion pitch, where temperatures are expected to drop below freezing.
Germany lie second on six points, following their shock 3-1 defeat to Norway in Drammen last month, level with Kosovo, who have played a game more.
Norway lie fourth in the group with five points from five matches.
