Paul Clement has confirmed that he will not be joining Sam Allardyce's England coaching team.
The Football Association had hoped to come to an arrangement with Bayern Munich that would see Clement join Allardyce's coaching staff on a part-time basis, while working alongside Carlo Ancelotti at the Bundesliga club.
However, the former Derby manager believes it would be in his best interests to concentrate on his duties at Bayern Munich.
"Following recent media reports I would like to clarify the situation with regards to a possible role with the England national team," he tweeted.
"After consultation between FC Bayern, the FA and myself it was decided that it is in the best interests of everyone involved for me to concentrate solely on the job I have in Munich.
"I would like to wish success to Sam, The FA and the England Team."
