Galway's Eoghan Clifford took gold in the C3 Time Trial on Wednesday to secure Ireland's second cycling medal of the day.
The two-time world champion, who won bronze in the Individual Pursuit on Friday, adds gold to the silver won by Conor Lynch in the C2 discipline earlier in the day.
Clifford recorded a time of 38:21.79 over the 37km course to become Ireland's third gold medallist of the games after sprinter Jason Smyth and 1500m runner Michael McKillop.
And Ireland later won their fourth gold of the Paralympics as Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal were victorious in the B Tandem race at Pontal in 38:59.22.
Elsewhere, Ireland's Ellen Keane won the bronze medal in the SB8 100m breaststroke final.
Keane was fourth at the turn but she finished strongly to take bronze behind Canada's Katarina Roxon and Britain’s Claire Cashmore.
