Dublin manager Jim Gavin has confirmed that Diarmuid Connolly could feature in the All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Tyrone on 27 August.
Connolly is currently serving a 12-week suspension, which runs until the midnight before the Croke Park showpiece against Mickey Harte's side.
The 30-year-old has not been able to train collectively with his Dublin team-mates under the terms of the ban, but Gavin says the four-time All-Ireland winner has been training on his own and is potentially fit enough to start against the Red Hand County.
"Yeah, we just have to wait and see as we get closer to the game," Gavin said.
"He is doing his own thing. He is on his own programme. We'll just have to wait and see."
Connolly put his hand on the shoulder of linesman Ciaran Branagan during Dublin's Leinster SFC defeat of Carlow on 3 June after the St Vincent's clubman disputed the awarding of a sideline ball.
No action was taken at the time of the incident, but the Central Competitions Control Committee imposed a 12-week suspension after they reviewed the footage post-match, and found him guilty of 'minor physical interference'.
Gavin also confirmed that forward Cormac Costello has recovered from a persistent hamstring injury and the Whitehall Colmcille clubman could also feature against the Ulster champions.
"Cormac Costello is back now as well, he's worked really diligently at his return to play," he continued.
"The squad is fully fit. We have a full squad to pick from."
