Conte claims October award
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been named Barclays Manager of the Month for October.
After picking up just one point in September, Chelsea secured four top flight victories in October to climb to second in the Premier League table.
A change in tactics resulted in the Blues scoring 11 goals and keeping four clean sheets as they defeated Hull, Southampton, Leicester and Manchester United.
"It's a great honour and I will share this with my players and the club. It is the first time I work in another country with a different culture, and when you want to bring your own philosophy it is not easy, but now I am glad for this choice," Conte said.
The Italian had been shortlisted alongside Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp, Stoke City's Mark Hughes and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
