Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte feels his side ‘must pay attention’ following their 2-1 defeat at home to Liverpool.
Liverpool took an early lead thanks to Dejan Lovren’s 17th minute finish, followed up by a wonderful strike from Jordan Henderson in the 36th minute.
The London side failed to create significant opportunities in the first half but were thrown a lifeline after Diego Costa scored from close range in the 61st minute.
Speaking to the BBC, Conte said: "My reflections about the game are very clear. We must pay attention every moment of the game and about details. In big games, the details change the result.
"Today we conceded the goals in a strange way. They took the free-kick quickly [for the first] and after a throw-in it was a great shot from a long distance but if we are in the right position he must not receive the ball unmarked.
"When you want to think like a great team you must pay attention in every moment what happens on the pitch.
"We played with good intensity and anger in the second half. We scored a goal and could have scored another with Diego Costa. We played a good second half.”
Chelsea will look to bounce back when they face Premier League champions Leicester City in the League cup next week.
