Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin says he would like to spend the rest of his career at the Emirates Stadium.
The 25-year-old, who signed for the Gunners in 2008 after impressing for France at that year's Uefa Under-17 tournament, spent time on loan at Lorient, Freiburg and Charlton before finally securing a regular first-team spot under Arsene Wenger.
Coquelin, who is under contract at Arsenal until the summer of 2019, says he owes a debt of loyalty to the Gunners amd has no intention of moving to a "bigger" club.
"Wanting higher and bigger doesn’t leave me many options," Coquelin told L’Equipe.
"Arsenal is already a very big club and I am loyal to the club, I arrived young here, I owe them a lot and as long as things are done properly I want to stay here as long as possible.
"So from the moment things are done well, my inclination is to stay at Arsenal for as long as possible.
"But then there has to be that desire on both sides. But spending the rest of my career at Arsenal would make me very proud."
Coquelin, who missed three months of last season with a knee ligament injury, has featured in 10 of Arsenal's 12 Premier League fixtures so far this season.
