Arsenal are targeting maximum points in their backo-back matches against Ludogorets as they look to finish top of their Champions League group, according to Francis Coquelin.
The Gunners are currently top of Group A, level on points with Paris Saint-Germain, and victory over Ludogorets at the Emirates on Wednesday night would go some way to dealing their passage into the knockout stages of the competition.
With difficult games against Basel and Paris Saint-Germain on the horizon, Coquelin believes it is 'massively important' for them to defeat the Bulgarian side.
"We’re all conscious of that. It’s a massive game, especially as it is at home," Coquelin told the pre-match press conference.
"We know we’re going to have two more tough games away too, against Ludogorets and Basel, plus a home game against Paris Saint-Germain. So it’s massively important to get the three points on Wednesday."
Coquelin has recovered from the injury he sustained against Chelsea but he admits he feared he had suffered a serious injury at the time.
"When you make these kinds of tackles, and this happened before against West Brom, you are a bit scared. It was a similar tackle to then," he explained.
"The good thing was that I could run back on to the pitch afterwards, even if I couldn’t stay on for long. The scan which followed was all positive so that was great news.
"It took me a few weeks to get back to full fitness, but now I feel good."
Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey will miss the match through injury but both are nearing a return to full fitness.
"They continue their preparation as they have been out for a long time. I think they need sharpening up now but they are not far away," manager Arsene Wenger told reporters.
