Cue Card looking to bounce back

Cue Card heads the field of nine for Thursday's Betfred Bowl on the opening day of the Crabbie's Grand National meeting.

The ten-year-old fell at the third last in the Cheltenham Gold Cup last month and as a consequence missed out on the £1million bonus following his wins in the Betfair Chase and the King George VI Chase.

He will bid to make amends when he lines up in the Grade One feature at Aintree, but he will not have it all his own way with Gold Cup second and third Djakadam and Don Poli both set to take their chance for Willie Mullins.

Mildmay Novices' Chase winner Saphir Du Rheu has stood his ground for Paul Nicholls, while David Pipe will be represented by Dynaste.

Jonjo O'Neill has Taquin Du Seuil alongside the Venetia Williams-trained Houblon Des Obeaux.

Irish Cavialier and Wakanda complete the field.
