eir sport pundit Gordon D'Arcy paid tribute to Munster's pack following their victory over Glasgow Warriors in Scotstoun on Monday night.
Four pack-created tries ensured Johann van Graan's men ran out 27-13 winners in difficult conditions to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The victory puts Munster eleven points clear of second-placed Scarlets at the top of Conference B as they look to end a decade-long wait for silverware.
"It's great to be talking about a dominant Munster pack again like we used to," D'Arcy said after the game.
"I know they've said they don't want to go back to that, but this part of the Munster DNA.
"This is when they play on the front foot with that tight five and eight that plays for each other.
"They set the tone brilliantly tonight, away from home and in really bad conditions.
"They're also mixing the hard grit up front with the soft touches behind which they are starting to build into their game which is great to see."
