19-year-old Portuguese full-back Diogo Dalot could make his Manchester United debut against Watford on Saturday.
Summer signing Dalot, who only started training with the ball in July following a minor knee operation, hinted on social media that he might start at Vicarage Road.
Dalot joined United from FC Porto in June in a £19m deal, with Red Devils' manager Jose Mourinho hailing the teenager as "the best full-back in Europe in his age group."
"Getting ready for Saturday," Dalot tweeted ahead of Saturday's Premier League game, which will be shown live on BT Sport 1 on the eir sport pack [coverage starts 5pm].
Dalot, who represented Portugal from under-15 to under-21 level, only made Porto debut in October 2017 but featured against Liverpool in the last 16 of the Champions League in March.
Fellow full-back Luke Shaw will miss the game under concussion protocols after suffering a head injury in England's Uefa Nations League match against Spain at Wembley on Saturday.
Midfielder Marouane Fellaini is also doubt for the game against Javier Gracia's side after sustaining a minor back problem while training with Belgium.
