December awards for Conte and Ibrahimovic
Antonio Conte and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been named Premier League Manager and Player of the Month for December.
Chelsea won all six of the league matches during December to consolidate their position at the top of the Premier League table and Conte, who was named Manager of the Month in October and November, has been rewarded for his club's brilliant run.
“This award shows we’re working very well,” Conte said. “December was a great month for us. It was important for the table and for our confidence.”
Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic has picked up the player award for December.
The Manchester United striker scored 12 goals in 12 appearances during November and December, including six goals during the final month of 2016 as his club went on a six-game winning run.
