Delaney and Speroni commit to Eagles

Damien Delaney and Julian Speroni have both signed one-year extensions to their existing deals with Crystal Palace.

Delaney joined Palace in August 2012 and has established himself as a constant present in the first team, helping the club secure promotion from the Championship and playing a big role in the club retaining their Premier League status. He has played 157 times for the club, scoring seven times.

Speroni is the club's longest-serving player with 388 appearances for the Eagles since joining in 2004 and he has agreed to a 13th season at Selhurst Park.

The pair's original contracts had been due to expire at the end of the month but they have agreed to remain at Selhurst Park for another season.

Meanwhile, six players, including Marouane Chamakh, Emmanuel Adebayor and Brede Hangeland, will leave the club when their contracts expire on June 30.
