Dublin Ladies Football have decided not to appeal the result of Sunday's All-Ireland senior final defeat to Cork.
Carla Rowe appeared to score a point for Dublin in the 22nd minute but it was not given and the decision was to prove costly as the Rebelettes won by a point.
Dublin officials met to discuss the possibilities of an appeal but officials have decided to accept the result and have congratulated Cork on their success.
“Dublin Players, Management and Executive congratulate Cork on winning the 2016 Senior All-Ireland final," a statement read.
“We wish it to be noted that we are very disappointed that the score error could not be rectified on the field of play and we will focus our efforts to require that LGFA put processes in place so that no other team is subjected to such a situation.
“Dublin LGFA will be making no further comment on this issue.”
