Nathan Dyer is expected to out until mid-November as he recovers from ankle surgery.
Dyer underwent surgery earlier this week to remove extra bone growth in his ankle and Swansea's head of performance Richard Buchanan has revealed that the 28-year-old will be out of action for up to nine weeks.
"The operation went well," Buchanan told the club's official website.
"The specialists are pleased with the outcome, and it is estimated that Nathan is likely to be out for between seven and nine weeks."
Dyer spent last season on loan at Leicester, helping Claudio Ranieri's side to the Premier League title, but signed a new four-year deal with Swansea in August.
