Munster director of rugby Rassie Erasmus believes his players had their belief "squeezed out of them" by Saracens in Saturday's European Rugby Champions Cup semi-final.
Defending champions Saracens are through to the final at Murrayfield on 13 May following an impressive 26-10 win over Munster at Lansdowne Road, but Erasmus was disappointed that his side failed to stay in the game in the second 40 minutes following an even first half.
"They are the complete outfit, but I don't think we were great. We tried really hard but I think the pressure got to us," the South African told BT Sport 3.
"I think at 6-3 we were in it, and we had a few opportunities. If we had scored there, the guys might have kept some hope, but then Saracens squeezed the belief out of us.
"The reality is, at this stage, Saracens are 15 to 20 points better than us. We are the third or fourth best team in Europe [this season] with 16 teams below us currently, but we have a way to go until we get to Saracens.
"But hopefully in a year's time we will be closer."
