Erasmus rings the changes

There are ten changes to the Munster starting XV for the rescheduled European Champions Cup tie against Racing 92 on Saturday.

Munster take on the Top 14 side at the Stade Yves-du-Manoir in the round 1 encounter that was postponed following the tragic death of Anthony Foley in October.

The Reds have been in sensational form in recent months and they will be hoping to move to the top of Pool 1.

As well as making ten changes from the side that defeated Connacht last weekend, director of rugby Rassie Erasmus has named his first changed European side this season.

Simon Zebo returns at full-back with Andrew Conway moving to the right wing and Ronan O'Mahony taking his place on the left flank. Rory Scannell and Jaco Taute resume their partnership in midfield as Conor Murray and Tyler Bleyendaal take their place in the half-back line.

There are five changes to the pack as Niall Scannell and John Ryan both return to join James Cronin in the front row, while Donnacha Ryan comes into the second row where he will lock down with Billy Holland.

Tommy O'Donnell has recovered from the ankle injury he sustained against Connacht and will start at openside with Peter O'Mahony named at blindside. CJ Stander takes the number 8 jersey.

Munster (XV V Racing 92): S Zebo; A Conway, J Taute, R Scannell, R O'Mahony; T Bleyendaal, C Murray; J Cronin, N Scannell, J Ryan, D Ryan, B Holland, T O'Donnell, P O'Mahony, CJ Stander.

Replacements: R Marshall, D Kilcoyne, S Archer, D Foley, J O'Donoghue, D Williams, K Earls, F Saili.
