Extra 24 hours for Aguero
Sergio Aguero has been given an extra 24 hours to respond to a misconduct charge.
Aguero has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association after allegedly elbowing West Ham's Winston Reid during the second half of Manchester City's win at the Etihad Stadium.
The incident was missed by referee Andre Marriner and his fellow officials but the FA have taken retrospective action after viewing a video replay of the match.
Aguero had until 6pm on Wednesday to respond but he has been given an extra 24 hours due to transfer deadline day.
The striker is facing a three-match ban, which would rule him out of the derby against Manchester United as well as the ties Premier League tie with Bournemouth and the club's clash with Swansea in the EFL Cup.
