FA Cup: Hammers to host Man City

The third round of the FA Cup threw up few big ties with Manchester City's trip to the London Stadium one of three all-Premier League clashes.

Everton will be hoping to continue the good form in the competition that saw them narrowly defeated by winners Manchester United in last year's semi-final when they welcome league champions Leicester City to Goodison Park.

The third top flight tie sees a basement battle where bottom-of-the-table Swansea City make the trip north to take on Hull City.

Holders Utd will be reunited with an old favourite as former defender Jaap Stam takes his Reading side to Old Trafford.

Non-league Barrow will be hopeful of reaching the fourth round when they play host to League One Rochdale.

The FA Cup third round ties will be played between 6 and 9 January.
