Tottenham fought back from 2-0 and 3-2 down to beat League Two side Wycombe Wanderers 4-3 in Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie at White Hart Lane.
Paul Hayes gave the Chairboys the lead with a brilliant left-foot volley midway through the first half, then made it 2-0 from the penalty spot 13 minute later after referee Roger East had penalised Cameron Carter-Vickers for a rash lunge on Adebayo Akinfenwa.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino turned to his star-studded bench, bringing on Vincent Janssen at half-time and Mousa Dembele and Dele Alli on the hour mark, and the Premier League side scored twice in three minutes to turn the tie on its head.
Heung-min Son netted from a tight angle on 60 minutes, then Janssen won, and converted a penalty on 63 minutes to make it 2-2.
The home side went down to 10 men for the final 17 minutes following an injury to full-back Kieran Trippier, and Gareth Ainsworth's side took full advantage as substitute Garry Thompson, without a goal in his previous 35 league games, made it 3-2 with eight minutes to go with a header from fellow sub Myles Weston's cross.
But Alli levelled again on 89 minutes following a poor goal-kick by Wycombe goalkeeper Jamal Blackman, then Joe Jacobson chested Son's shot into is own net seven minutes into injury time.
Manchester City cruised to a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park to book their place in Monday's fifth-round draw.
Raheem Sterling gave Pep Guardiola's side the lead from Gabriel Jesus' pass two minutes before the interval, before Leroy Sane made it 2-0 on 71 minutes with his third goal in successive games for City.
And Yaya Toure wrapped up the win with a third goal in injury time from a free-kick.
Also through to the fifth round are Middlesbrough, 1-0 winners over League Two side Accrington Stanley at the Riverside.
Stewart Downing scored the only goal of the game on 69 minutes, his first FA Cup goal for Middlesbrough since February 2009.
Chelsea made light work of their fourth round tie as they hammered Brentford 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte made nine changes to his starting line-up but the league leaders still had far too much quality for their London rivals.
Willian got the ball rolling for the hosts, his free-kick putting Chelsea ahead on 14 minutes.
Pedro doubled the lead seven minutes later when he finished a sharp move.
Branisalv Ivanovic ended the game as a contest with the third for the Blues on 69 minutes before Michy Batshuayi converted a late penalty to cap a straightforward afternoon.
Burnley eased past their struggling opponents at Turf Moor, Steven Defour’s stunning goal the highlight of their 2-0 victory over Bristol City.
Defour had provided the assist for the Clarets’ opening goal just before the break, Sam Vokes finishing coolly from his pull-back.
The Belgian then sealed the win when he produced a lovely lob from outside the box on 68 minutes which City goalkeeper Fabian Giefer could do nothing about.
The visitors had lost their previous eight league games and never looked capable of getting back into the game, with a third goal for Sean Dyche’s side always likelier than one that would reduce the deficit.
