Wexford hurling boss Davy Fitzgerald says he "loves where he's at" and has played down speculation linking him with the Dublin job.
Fitzgerald, who led Clare to All-Ireland success in 2013, played down rumours that he could take up the Dublin role vacated by Ger Cunningham this week.
Cunningham stepped down as Dublin hurling manager after three years at the helm this week, following his side's 6-26 to 1-19 qualifier defeat to Tipperary on 8 July.
"Some clowns out there are going on that you're looking to do this or to do that, but I love where I'm at," he said.
"My heart loves what I'm doing. Listen, the next few weeks I'll sort that out and there won't be a problem. I could not say enough about how I feel there."
The 45-year-old has led the Model County to promotion to Division 1 and the quarter-finals of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship in his first season in charge, but the Sixmilebridge native admits the 200km commute up to four days a week is taking its toll.
"Clare to Wexford isn't a straight forward spin that you could have three or four times a week," the former Clare and Waterford boss admitted.
"When you're sitting into the car at one o'clock and you've people at home that care about you, and you're not getting home until one o'clock in the morning.
"That's how long a trip it is, it's two hours 45 to three hours. I've other people that I've to consider as well. We'll sit down and see what the story is."
