Rory Gallagher has agreed to lead the Donegal senior footballers for a further three years.
Gallagher had one year remaining on three-year term he agreed when he was appointed in October 2014 but the Fermanagh native requested a four-year extension, believing it would take more than the final 12 months to complete a rebuilding process.
The Donegal County Board have confirmed he will stay at the helm for a further three years with the option of a fourth year, subject to review.
"Rory Gallagher has been appointed for 3 more years with a review for a 4th from today," Donegal GAA tweeted.
