Germany and Poland draw

Germany and Poland both look set to progress from Euro 2016 Group C after playing out the first goalless draw of the tournament.

Both teams are level on four points at the top of the group, with Germany leading because of their superior goal difference.

Germany face Northern Ireland in the final group fixture in Paris on Tuesday, while Poland meet the already-eliminated Ukraine in Marseiile.

Arkadiusz Milik, the scorer of Poland's only goal in their 1-0 victory over Northern Ireland, spurned the best chance of the match when he headed wide from point-blank range from a Kamil Grosicki cross from the right.

And the Ajax Amsterdam forward wasted another chance on 70 minutes he scuffed his shot from another Grosicki cross.
