Gooch returns for Kerry


Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice has recalled Colm Cooper for the All-Ireland football semi-final against Dublin on Sunday.

The Gooch has recovered from the collarbone injury he suffered in the Munster final victory over Tipperary on 3 July, and starts at centre-forward at Croke Park on Sunday in place of Darran O’Sullivan, who drops to the bench.

Captain Bryan Sheehan has to settle for a place on the bench, while Michael Geaney and Johnny Buckley also return to the substitutes' bench after missing the 2-16 to 0-11 quarter-final victory over Clare through injury.
