Pep Guardiola has dismissed claims he is contemplating retirement.
In an interview with US network NBC earlier this week, the Manchester City claimed that he is coming to end of his career and made it clear that he would not still be coaching at the age of 60.
His comments prompted speculation about his future at the Etihad Stadium, but the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager has stressed he is committed to City and is not planning to quit any time soon.
"I said in the interview that I will not train at 60 - but guys I am 45,” Guardiola told reporters ahead of Friday's FA Cup third round tie against West Ham.
“I’m not going to retire in two or three years. I love my job and I’m in the perfect place to do it - especially in England.
"I want to do something else in my life.
"I started playing young and I want to do something else in my life.
"Maybe it was inappropriate to say I am starting to say goodbye.”
