World champion Lewis Hamilton will talk to the Mercedes team on Tuesday over his poor start at Monza that cost him victory at the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday.
Hamilton qualified on pole at Monza but slipped to sixth place off the start line after suffering wheel spin.
One of the five drivers to move past Hamilton was his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, who went on to win and reduce the Briton's lead at the top of the drivers' championship to two points.
It is a return to the early-season problems for Hamilton, who endured poor starts at Melbourne, Bahrain and Canada that allowed Rosberg to rack up a 43-point lead after the first four races.
"I can assure you we’ll be talking about it at the factory," Hamilton said.
"We’ll try to get as much information, and learn as much as we can, to try and make sure in the remaining seven races we’re not struggling getting off the line from pole positions.
"They’ll be working very hard – it’s not a quick fix so it’s not something we can change for the next race."
In other news, Rosberg has sought advice about the Zika virus.from Mercedes team doctors ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix next weekend.
There have been 242 reported cases in the country in the past week, with the Foreign Office calling the risk of Zika there, which can cause birth defects in foetuses, as 'very high".
"As a family man now, I am very interested and am looking into," the German said.
"I have started discussions about it already, actually."
