West Ham will investigate claims that Andy Carroll and Darren Randolph were drunk on Tuesday afternoon.
The pair were accused of being drunk in pictures that were posted on social media on Tuesday with Carroll interacting with fans throughout the day.
Despite some users suggesting the pair were drunk, the England striker played down the allegations by claiming they were drinking coffee.
"I seriously need to sort my parties out!! Sorry lads. Back in the day my parties had the wish I was there effect," he tweeted.
Carroll and Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Randolph had been on a club-sanctioned night out on Monday and a spokesman for West Ham has confirmed the club will investigate the claims.
"The club is looking into these allegations and will deal with the players as we see fit," the spokesman said.
West Ham have lost five of their six Premier League games this season and currently six 18th in the table.
