Harzand is an intended runner in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, trainer Dermot Weld has confirmed.
The dual Derby winner was found to be sore after he was struck into during Saturday's Qipco Irish Champions Stakes at Leopardstown and there were fears that he would be forced to miss the trip to Chantilly on October 2.
Weld, however, has revealed that the son of Sea The Stars is making good progress in his recovery and he is confident he will be ready for the October 2 showpiece at Chantilly.
"We will have him back on Monday - that's the plan," Weld told the Daily Mirror. "He doesn't need antibiotics and his leg will heal in the next couple of days.
"What happened was a total accident - a horse behind just ran into the tail end of him.
"But he's a brave horse, he's making good progress and he'll be back for the Arc."
