Ulster have a number of injury concerns ahead of their Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final against Leinster on Saturday week.
Iain Henderson emerged as a doubt for the game at the Aviva Stadium after picking up a knee injury in Ireland's Six Nations win over France with the problem forcing him to miss the defeat to Wales last weekend.
With the second row yet to shake off the problem he will miss this weekend's Guinness PRO14 clash against Southern Kings but the province are hoping he will recover in time to face Leinster.
“We are hoping Ian is going to be right for the quarter-final next week,” Ulster coach Aaron Dundon said.
“At the moment, we don’t have a definite answer for that, it’s day-by-day for him and we will see next week.”
Ulster are also set to be without Will Addison and Craig Gilroy as they continue their recoveries from injury.
Addison remains sidelined with the injury he sustained while training with Ireland, while Gilroy has yet to recovery from a back problem.
Elsewhere, Marcell Coetzee will return from injury for this weekend's game but head coach Dan McFarland will be without some of his international players.
